Description: Clean cut, and to the Point. Instead of dragging this into a video series, I considered that this style of film would really help some folks that wanted a “quick”, yet in depth tutorial / DIY in one film. The model I am building today is the RC4WD Trail Finder 2, Long Wheel Base (LWB) 4x4 1/10th scale Radio Control truck “Kit”. A Kit is a model that you assemble, and does not come with electronics. In this film I assemble, (summary style), the entire rolling chassis as well as choose and install the waterproof steering servo, and transmission servo. The transmission is a 2 stage (high and Low gear) and can shift on the fly. In my opinion this kit is a fun, and “easy” to do model for those who are just starting in the hobby, or is already a senior hobbyist. The quality of the parts, the thought put into the package of hardware and the overall building experience is very simple. I would give building the chassis a difficulty rating of 2 out of 5, where 5 is the most difficult. The instruction manual is very well written and the graphics are clear. A lot of viewers ask me where I get the products I show in my films, so here is the direct link to RC4WD: http://bit.ly/2j3GMs6Here are some of the highlighted features of this kit: Custom Designed for True to Scale Looks Realistic Billet Aluminum Ladder Frame Chassis 2 Speed Remote Selectable Transmission Center Mounted Realistic 4x4 Transfer Case Cast Metal AxlesTrue to Scale Leaf Spring Suspension Highly Detailed Body with Dropped Bed and More 1.55" Stamped Steel Beadlock Wheels with Lug Nuts Super Grip High Performance Mud Thrasher Tires Realistic Tube Bumpers - Rock Rails - Skid PlateAll New Hammer Transfer CaseRatio: 1.47:1Gears: Wide 32P Steel GearsFeatures: 8 Bearings, Cast Casing, Hardened GearsAll New R3 2 Speed TransmissionRatios Pinion/Spur 14/64 = 4.57:1 1st Gear 3.47:1 2nd Gear 1.27:1Gears: Wide Steel 32P, Delrin Spur, Slipper ClutchFeatures: Machined Billet Aluminum Casing, Scale Looking, Motor Mount can be adjusted with up to 10 different positions, Compatible with other brand spurs (Axial, Traxxas, Robinson)Cast Yota AxlesRatio: 15/40 = 2.67:1 Width at Hex (Using 4mm TF2 Hexes): 176.5mmAll New Trail Finder "LWB" 2 ChassisFeatures: Billet Aluminum Constriction, Adjustable Shock HoopsDrive ShaftsHigh Quality Plastic Material, Very Durable High Quality Steel YokesWheelsName: 1.55’’ OEM Beadlock WheelsHub: 12mm HexWidth: 22mmBack Spacing: 9mmFeatures: Stamped Steel, Aluminum Hub, Internal Beadlock, Very Scale Looking, 6 Lug DesignRC ADVENTURES™/ RCSparks Studio™ © 2017 Medic Media Productions Inc.
